Finally... The Clearstory Story

Finally.

After two months of hinting, vague posting, and generally being obnoxious, Clearstory Consulting has a fully functioning website. We are live.

(Although… there is more coming in the “launch” category. That’s a story for another day. Possibly another website.)

Clearstory Consulting has been in the works for a while. I’ve worked with the brilliant Nathan Robinson and Sarah Davis of SHOWOFF Creative, whose creativity is off the charts and whose patience is, frankly, heroic. I’m deeply grateful for the care and thought they’ve poured into this rebrand. They understood me–sometimes before I did.

As for the name…

It started in a conversation with “the robot” while I was exploring a new direction for ProtocolSC. Somewhere along the way, I had looked up the word clerestory during a devotional reading, and the internet’s unnerving (creepy?) memory pulled it into the chat.

A clerestory window is designed to admit natural light — light that clarifies and illuminates what lies below. I loved the idea immediately.

But after 16 years of spelling both Avinger (note the “i”) and Protocol (yes, that many “o’s”), I knew I wasn’t signing up for another lifetime of spelling bee gymnastics.

So I changed it up.

Clearstory.

Clear purpose. Clear communication. Clear standards. The professional story you’re telling, whether you mean to or not.

Public speaking and business etiquette — the hallmarks of ProtocolSC — remain foundational. But I have expanded the work to fully integrate leadership coaching and the interpersonal dynamics that have always been integral to  my programs.

Take a look at the website. Get in touch to discuss working with me. I look forward to it!
